Lonely Detective

Another day ready to test my patience.

Light burning my retinas as if to torture my lonely soul.

Enough with the melodrama.

Get up.

I choose not to feel today.

Makes things easier.

Makes it easier to think.

Maybe I’ll scrape my violin today.

Haven’t touched it in ages.

I consider chucking my phone out of the window.

It won’t shut up when I tell it to.

Why can’t they leave me alone?

Fine.

I’ll go.

It’s not like they can figure it out on their own anyway.

He’d probably enjoy it, but I’m sure he’s too busy for me now.

I’m fine.

I was fine before and I’m fine now.

Oh. What happened here…?

Finally. Something to occupy my time.
